Our current auction is online now in our “Auctions and Deals” Facebook Group and ends this Wednesday, October 23rd. This will be our first “Facebook Auction” so please bear with us as we work out any bugs that may arise. Be sure to read the pinned post for “HOW IT WORKS”, and join the group to participate. Don’t forget to answer the membership questions so we can quickly approve your membership request. You can view all the items in the current auction on the “Photos” page of the group, then (once you’ve joined) you can click a photo to bid in the comments for that photo.
Items for auction will be posted separately (one post per item) throughout the day in the Facebook Group on the first day of the auction, and bidding will be done in the comments of each item’s post. An Auction Preview category is available here in our online store where items can be seen prior to the bidding opening. Keep in mind the preview category is sort of a “staging area”, and we will typically be adding items there right up until the auction starts, and some items may be sold or removed prior to the auction. You may also preview items in person by appointment. Contact us by email, text or phone (813-641-4536) to arrange a time.
Not on Facebook? Don’t worry, we’re happy to take “absentee bids” from our customers who aren’t on Facebook. We’ll post details here soon on how to place absentee bids.
Pickup, Delivery and Shipping
We prefer all items be picked up in person, whether purchased here in our online store. Normal pickup is at our Pasco County location. If you do not contact us prior to purchasing or bidding, this indicates that you plan to pick up here in person and are aware of our “by appointment only” hours. While we are generally very flexible with pickup times, due to limited parking and occasionally being closed for out of town business, we do not accept walk-in traffic.
We offer semi-regular delivery to Sarasota near University Parkway and Lockwood Ridge Road, usually towards the end of the month. Our next delivery day is scheduled for October 26th. Keep in mind you must be flexible and able to meet us at our convenience, as this is offered as a courtesy and at no charge. You must also check with us in advance of bidding or buying to make sure we have room for the item(s) you are interested in.
We offer shipping at buyer’s expense on some items upon request prior to bidding or buying. Generally this is only available for smaller items that can ship in a padded envelope or flat rate box via USPS Priority Mail, First Class Parcel (up to 16 oz) or Media Mail (books only).
